Roman Emperor Nero had a rotating banquet hall?!
He lived a lavish lifestyle and loved to impress his guests! I bet he was able to do that with this contraption that they recently discovered in Rome. The purported main dining room, with a diameter of over 50 feet , rested upon a 13-foot wide pillar and four spherical mechanisms that, likely powered by a constant flow of water, rotated the structure.
