Vice President Biden also joined them in a gathering that some dubbed the "beer summit" to clear the air after the recent uproar. Obama described it afterward as a "friendly, thoughtful conversation." "I have always believed that what brings us together is stronger than what pulls us apart," Obama said. It is not over for Dr. Murray

This will go on for a long time. Authorities raided the Dr's home yesterday morning without warning. Dr. Murray was home at the time and many things were confisgated including a hard drive and more. An official close to the investigation said that Jackson relied on propofol like an alarm clock, instructing doctors to stop the IV when he wanted to wake up. It's a drug authorities believe he may have been using for two years. How scary is that?? "Everyone needs to take a breath and wait for these long-delayed toxicology results," Murray's lawyer, Ed Chernoff, said . "Things tend to shake out when all the facts are made known, and I'm sure that will happen here as well." Read more here.

She really did step down!

Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin gave her final speech as Alaska's governor Sunday before stepping down from her post, telling a Fairbanks crowd that she is resigning "to chart a new course to advance the state." Hmmmm, will she start off with her Memior or maybe have a TV or Radio Show of her own?? Hard to say, but she sure did have a lot to say in her final speech...She warned against "anti-hunting, anti-Second Amendment circuses from Hollywood" that use "delicate, tiny celebrity starlets" to push their cause. "Hollywood needs to know -- we eat, therefore, we hunt," Palin told a cheering crowd. Click here for more.

I would like to have a beer and chill with the President too!!

President Obama's sit-down with Cambridge Police Sgt. James Crowley and Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. over some brews is expected to take place early this week. The Police are angry!

Ok, I watched this news story last night on one of the major networks and have my own opinion from what I heard. A lady passing by the home of this Harvard Professor saw someone breaking in through the front door, or at least that's what it looked like to her. She called the police. By the time the police got there, whomever it was had already gone inside the home. The officer followed standard proceedure for a possible break-in and knocked on the door and asked for ID from the gentleman and explained why he was there. The story goes from there that the professor accused the cop of harrassment/and being racist. My thoughts are that if a neighbor or passerby thinks my house is being robbed and called the cops and they came to question me....I'd be grateful that someone was looking out for me and our neighborhood. Why was it such a big deal to give the officer an ID and explain that the door was sticking and thanks for coming to check on the situation......Maybe I do not have all the facts...that is possible. Now Obama is under fire....read more here.
