Country singer Tim McGraw does not like to see a woman being abused...at his concert in California last weekend he saw a man abusing a woman, stopped his concert and refused to continue unless the man was removed from the Venue! You go Tim!
Actor Sidney Poitier will receive quite an honor from the President. He and 15 others will recieve the 2009 Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor. The president will present the awards at a ceremony on August 12th.
