When I heard this announcement I was both thrilled and confused!! Ellen Degeneres...American Idol Judge??!! What does she know about music, the industry, singing, etc...who cares, she is funny at heck and will bring a whole new spin to an already successful talent show!! Imagine how she will handle the "wacko's" during the auditions....how she will handle Simon!!! I think it's a good choice....a great way to cross promote the show.....and to bring some humor instead of "what did she say" (some Paula comments!!) What do you think?
