Ok, this is just amazing...

SHE doesn't drink, smoke or eat vegetables, but at 100 years of age, Ruth Frith can put a mean shot. On the second day of competition at the seventh World Masters Games in Sydney yesterday, the great-grandmother -- the oldest female competitor in the event -- mustered a throw of 13 ft 4.2 inches to take the gold medal. Trying to pin down the secret to her long and active life, she passed on some unlikely advice. "Don't eat vegetables, because I never eat vegetables. I know people that like diets that will scream at me, (but) don't eat vegetables. I never have." Of course the great-grandmother from Brisbane also doesn't drink or smoke, trains five days a week and bench presses 77lb weights. Frith's throw rivalled those of many competitors decades younger than herself and set a new world record for her age group which is 100 to 104 years of age!! What an inspiration!
