It sure was sad, but made a lot of sense. Oktoberfest had to make a very tough decision last night, as storms rolled through our area...they had to cancel the beloved Torchlight Parade...the first time this event has been canceled in its 38 years. They say it likely will not be rescheduled...rain in the forecast today and tomorrow and plenty of events and activities at the grounds for families to enjoy!! Today the carnival rides, weather permitting fun from 4-9pm, Miss Wisconsin Kristina Smaby will be at the Southside Grounds from 5-7pm signing autographs. Boogie & the Yo-Yoz are on the Garden Stage from 5-8pm and from 8 to Midnight on the Main Stage it's Hairball with great 80's Rock!! The Designated Driver Booth will be open as well - please be safe this Oktoberfest and see ya at the Fest Grounds!

No Torchlight last night for Oktoberfest :(
