Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty yesterday of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.
Dr. Murray was immediately taken into custody. Bail was denied. He could get up to four years in prison and lose his medical license when he's sentenced November 29th.
Murray had pled not guilty to the charge after prosecutors accused him of administering a fatal dose of the powerful anesthetic propofol to the singer in June 2009.
After the verdict was announced, Michael's parents released a statement, saying, "We have been waiting for this moment for a very long time and we couldn't hold back tears of joy in the courtroom. Even though nothing can bring back our son, justice has finally been served! We can't wait to go home and share this day with Michael's children."
His sister La Toya tweeted, "VICTORY!!!!!!... Michael I love you and I will continue to fight until ALL are brought to justice!"
