Video Games for Urinals? Really??
The British video game company Captive Media has developed a urinal that features a urine-controlled video game console.
They call it the first "hands-free" video gaming console of its kind.
The user sees three targets to aim for in the bowl and the console detects where he is aiming his stream with an infrared device.
The games, which include a skiing challenge and a multiple choice quiz, are played on a 12-inch LCD screen, mounted on the wall.
One positive side effect of the games is that the bathrooms are cleaner because users are rewarded for accuracy.

Black Friday spending
Black Friday deals brought shoppers out in record numbers this year, which created chaos in some areas, but also record spending, according to retail analysts.
A combined 226 million people shopped at brick-and-mortar and online stores during the four-day Black Friday weekend, up 14 million from last year, according to a survey conducted for the National Retail Federation.
The online market research firm BIGresearch reported that consumers spent an estimated $52 billion during the weekend, which kicked off on Thanksgiving Day in some stores.
And shoppers were spending a bit more. Last year, the average shopper spent $365.34 over the weekend, while this year it was up to $398.62. Surprisingly, nearly half of the Black Friday shoppers surveyed by The NDP Group said that they had only bought items for themselves so far.

Why eat out on Thanksgiving?
Unless you're one of those families that has your Thanksgiving Day traditions very, very set, you might be still wondering where you'll be eating your mandatory turkey dinner.
Either that, or you're scrambling to get ready for the tsunami of family members who will show up at your door and demand to be fed and entertained.
It's all a lot of stress and work that can be avoided completely if you simply decide to go out for Thanksgiving dinner.
Here are a bunch of reasons it's a great idea to spend Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant:
No dishes
No cooking all day
No leftovers that you feel guilty about throwing out
No relatives
No fighting over the limited number of drumsticks
Being waited on at all times
No one will complain about your cooking
And you won't have to complain about someone else's cooking
No cranberry sauce from a can
No turkey sandwiches for two weeks
Expensive liquor means fewer drunk rants from disgruntled family members
Attentive waiters means fewer outbursts from disgruntled family members
Anyone with dietary restrictions can order off the regular menu
Your Thanksgiving day will only last two hours -- at most!

The last Thanksgiving in Iraq!
Even though the official Thanksgiving holiday in the United States is later this week, U.S. soldiers in Iraq gathered for an early Thanksgiving dinner because they are shutting down the last dining facility as they prepare to depart the country for good.
More than 6,000 soldiers and contractors ate their last Thanksgiving meal in Iraq at tables decorated with colorful paper turkeys and "Happy Thanksgiving" signs hanging overhead.
They had crab legs, turkey, ham, dressing, yams, green beans, rolls, corn bread, mashed potatoes -- as well as a bunch of desserts.
"Seeing that this is the last cooked meal for the soldiers here, it's a good thing, 'cause we know we're moving out," said 45-year-old Sergeant James Scott, who is on his second Iraq deployment.
President Barack Obama announced on October 21 that U.S. forces would leave by the end of this year -- and it sure looks like it's happening.

Dr. Conrad Murray 'Guilty'!
Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty yesterday of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.
Dr. Murray was immediately taken into custody. Bail was denied. He could get up to four years in prison and lose his medical license when he's sentenced November 29th.
Murray had pled not guilty to the charge after prosecutors accused him of administering a fatal dose of the powerful anesthetic propofol to the singer in June 2009.
After the verdict was announced, Michael's parents released a statement, saying, "We have been waiting for this moment for a very long time and we couldn't hold back tears of joy in the courtroom. Even though nothing can bring back our son, justice has finally been served! We can't wait to go home and share this day with Michael's children."
His sister La Toya tweeted, "VICTORY!!!!!!... Michael I love you and I will continue to fight until ALL are brought to justice!"

Reasons guys prefer Brunettes?!
Well, there are actually lots of scientifically proven reasons that guys prefer brunettes, including:
Tats Look Better on Brunettes -- Researchers actually studied this and found blondes with tattoos received lower ratings than brunettes with body art.
Brunettes Are Better Conversation -- This one's not that shocking, but a study found 63 percent of men would prefer to engage in an in-depth conversation with a brunette.Brunettes Are Low-Maintenance -- A British study found that most men believe brunettes are self-sufficient. On the other hand, blondes are thought of as lacking independence and being needy.
Brunettes Are More Serious -- There comes a time in every man's life when it's time to settle down ... and reach for a Brunette. Researchers have found that brunettes are perceived as being more down-to-earth and practical.

Bieber Baby??
Unlike most teenage boys, Justin Bieber is flatly denying allegations that he's had sex -- and insisting he didn't father a child with a California woman who's just filed a paternity suit against him.
In court papers, Mariah Yeater says that The Bieb propositioned her last October 25th and notes, "Based upon the timing as well as the fact there were no other possible men that I had sex with that could be the father of this baby, I believe that Justin Bieber is in fact the father of my baby."Bieber's rep tells Radar Online "While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations."
Terror plot by 4 Seniors?!
The four senior citizens from Georgia, accused of plotting a wave of terror that included the use of explosives and the lethal toxin ricin, appeared in court yesterday.
The foursome -- 73-year-old Frederick Thomas, 67-year-old Dan Roberts, 65-year-old Ray Adams, and 68-year-old Samuel Crump -- sported glasses and gray or white hair, and had trouble hearing the judge, although she was using a microphone.
Court documents say the quartet was modeling their plot after an online novel called Absolved, about a small group of citizens that attack U.S. officials. Their families, however, say the charges are "baloney," with Thomas' wife, Charlotte, pointing to his 30 years in the U.S. Navy. She said, "He would not do anything against his country. He loves his country."

Oh boy, this is not good news!
According to a newly released study, even drinking a small amount of alcohol can increase your risk of developing breast cancer.
The study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, says that drinking between three and six small glasses of wine a week was linked to a 15-percent increased risk in breast cancer.Past studies have revealed a link between alcohol consumption and breast cancer, but the authors of this study say that this is the first time that the effects of low-level drinking has been completely explored.

Mother Monster not Mother Theresa!
Gaga visited an orphanage serving children with HIV and AIDS, and now she's reportedly thinking about funding one herself. A source close to the singer tells London's Sun,"She feels as if it's the right time to do something. She isn't the type of celebrity who just throws cash at things though.
"She wants to start by getting involved in some orphanages that already exist and devote some of her time and money to helping them."

Jessica Simpson lets the cat out of the bag!
The cat -- or the baby -- is finally out of the bag. Jessica Simpson has confirmed that she is indeed expecting her first child.
Jess, who's been showing a baby bump for weeks now, tweeted a Halloween-themed photo of herself wrapped in sheets yesterday, and captioned it "It's true...I'm going to be a mummy."
There's still no word as to whether or not she and fiance Eric Johnson plan to tie the knot.
