This is just the freakiest story I have ever heard and I am glad it is coming from Russia and not here in the states!!
A Russian woman had an unusual excuse for a fire at her house -- she set it while trying to bring her sister back to life a year after her passing.
The 69-year-old woman had kept her elder sibling preserved in a bath of gasoline and tried a number of cures to re-animate the corpse. Last week, she came up with the notion of jump-starting the body with exposed electrical wires -- which didn't mix well with the pool of gas. DUH!
The surviving sister was hospitalized after suffering burns and smoke inhalation - REALLY!!
