Joining Siobhan in the bottom three this week were Michael Lynche and Casey James. I missed the show, but am surprised that Casey was in the bottom 3...the next couple weeks could get interesting!

Bono's private equity venture, Elevation Partners, owns an approximate 30pc stake in Palm, having invested $460m in the struggling handset maker in 2007 and 2008. The Bachelor gets eliminated!

We're halfway through the season, and this is when it starts getting tough. People who are working hard and dancing well get sent packing. This week it was Jake's turn to say goodbye. You have to be confident to pull off the samba, but technique matters too. Jake's hip action, posture and timing have really improved over the last six weeks, but he stumbled coming out of a series of spins during this week's routine. Jake talked about what a great experience the show was for him. Remember, it takes a brave man to cha-cha in his underwear. Jake was moved to tears as he told Chelsie that she was one of his best friends and thanked her for being so great to his fiancee Vienna. How did the other dancers do Monday??

Brett Michaels is still healing

Doctors seem optimistic, but it is still a scary situation! Tests results indicate that Brett has a lack of sodium in his body that leads to seizures. Tests also found that he suffered a stroke that causes bleeding on the brain and doctors believe he will gradually improve as the blood surrounding his brain dissolves and is reabsorbed into his system. Doctors believe Michaels' hemorrhage and emergency appendectomy earlier this month are complications from his type 1 diabetes.

Hmm, Aliens exists and could be dangerous!!

British physicist Stephen Hawking says aliens are out there, but it could be too dangerous for humans to interact with extraterrestrial life.

Hawking claims in a new documentary titled "Into the Universe With Stephen Hawking" that intelligent alien life forms almost certainly exist — but warns that communicating with them could be "too risky."

"We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn’t want to meet," Hawking said. "I imagine they might exist in massive ships ... having used up all the resources from their home planet. Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonize whatever planets they can reach.”

The Dragon slays the 'Back-up Plan'!

$15 million was all for the highest grossing movie over the weekend, which kind of surprises me as the weather was pretty bad, but we had a lot going on with the Spartans on Friday night, Skating Sirens on Saturday and the Between the Bluffs Beer, Wine & Cheese Fest...or if you were like me, the couch was the big attraction Saturday night while we ordered a movie via sat!!

As the country was sinking into its worst financial crisis in more than 70 years, Security and Exchange Commission employees and contractors cruised porn sites and viewed sexually explicit pictures using government computers, according to an agency report obtained by CNN.

"During the past five years, the SEC OIG (Office of Inspector General) substantiated that 33 SEC employees and or contractors violated Commission rules and policies, as well as the government-wide Standards of Ethical Conduct, by viewing pornographic, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive images using government computer resources and official time," said a summary of the investigation by the inspector general's office.

Who's on the cover this year? Well, he just earned a Superbowl ring and now EA Sports has chosen the New Orlean Saints QB as the cover model for this years version of Madden Football!! I am not a big gamer, but enjoy watching my daughter, Morgan and her Dad play!

And Tim Urban finally went home. I will miss his smile, but was not a huge fan of his singing.

It was a pretty good show last night....George Lopez was humorous, not a fan of the Black Eyed Peas Live, but enjoyed the night overall. Who will go home next week?? Could be Big Mike.

What an amazing dog!

For the last 6 years of his life, 81 year old Parley Nichols never left his home without his dog Lady. They were the best of friends who took care of each other. So when Parley, who had developed demensia, went missing, it was no surprise that Lady brought attention to Parley by staying by his side and barking. Unfortunately, Parley had passed away from a cardiac arrest and Lady stayed with him for an entire week. Read more here.

Be careful if you are buying an iPad...this guy lost part of his finger!! OUCH! He had just made the purchase at a Mall and was heading to the parking garage when a thief tried to grab away the bag with the iPad in it. It was tied around the shoppers hand and the thief pulled so hard that he striped part of his pinky finger down to the bone - YIKES!! Doctors did have to amputate part of it as well. The thief is still at large.

Welcome to "Movie Night." (What's up with all the theme nights this season?) Erin and Derek did an inspired tribute to "Pulp Fiction" and Nicole dazzled everyone with her nod to "Pretty Woman." The dance that stood out, however, was Jake's cheeky, pantsless cha-cha to "Old Time Rock and Roll" from "Risky Business." Yes, he came out wearing only a white button-down shirt and his tighty-whities! Surprisingly, the judges -- even Len! -- loved it. Jake cracked the top three for the first time in the competition! Two Columbia sanitation workers who apparently couldn't stand by and let beer go down the drain allegedly took dozens of cases of expired brew from the city landfill. Well, can you blame them?? It was just expired, so probably lost some of it's taste...it's surely not a health risk, but they have brought police into the picture to see if it's a crime or just a policy violation! People all over the Midwest reported seeing a bright light in the sky....even my boss!

Cory Malles from News Channel 8's Storm Team says is could have been a meteor, although it has not been confirmed. Some heard a boom that sounded like thunder. One witness said it shook her house...wow, sounds like it came close!
