Today and Saturday will be a busy one at UW La Crosse Veterans Memorial Stadium!! The 114th WIAA state boys track and field meet and 39th annual state girls meet is in town. Here is a quick look at the schedule:
FRIDAY SCHEDULE: Divisions 2-3, 9:30 a.m. (running preliminaries and some finals, boys discus, pole vault, triple jump; girls high jump, long jump, shot put); Division 1: 4:30 p.m. (running preliminaries and some finals, boys high jump, long jump, shot put; girls discus, pole vault, triple jump).
SATURDAY SCHEDULE: All divisions - Field events, 10:30 a.m. (Division 2-3 boys shot put, high jump, long jump; girls pole vault, triple jump, discus; Division 1 pole vault, triple jump, discus; girls shot put, high jump, long jump). Running events, 1 p.m. (remaining finals).
TICKETS: $6 per session (two sessions Friday, one Saturday); $10 for an all-day Friday pass.
PARKING: Available for $5 in lots in the area of the stadium; first come, first served.
