Local Oil spill on the Mississippi.
What a mess and a hassle for fisherman and our wildlife. It's about 6 miles long and working its way down the river. They estimate it's about 1000 gallons of diesel oil. It appears to have originated on the Minnesota side just north of Dakota. It does not pose a significant threat to aquatic life, but please avoid contact. More details here.
