Harry Morgan, one of TV's busiest character actors, died Wednesday in L.A. at age 96. Best known as Colonel Potter in MASH and Bill Gannon in both the '60s version of Dragnet and its 1987 movie spoof, the Detroit native was known for his wry smile, baritone voice and easy, self-depreciating humor. He had such a recognizable voice and warm feel about him. He will be missed!
