A freelance TV producer is offering her a million bucks to tell her story. Rumors of such a deal had been floating around for a while, but Al Taylor has confirmed his interest to Radar Online, even giving the site a copy of a bank check made out to the mother of murdered tot Caylee Anthony.
Taylor insists that he initially had a deal to deliver Casey to Jerry Springer, who has denied any involvement. Now he's shopping the idea of an exclusive interview with her to a variety of sources.
In related news, a Texas non-profit group that was retained to investigate the disappearance of Caylee Anthony wants to get paid -- by Casey Anthony.
Texas EquuSearch wants Casey to cough up $100,000 in costs, saying she duped them into taking on her case even though she knew her daughter was already dead. During her recent trial, defense lawyer, Jose Baez told the jury that his client knew Caylee had drowned in the family's backyard pool on June 16th, 2008. Reps for EquuSearch say they turned down pleas from the families of 15 other missing children to focus on Caylee's case.
