It's Kiwanis Radio Day today!!

Forest Moe is my guest today!! The La Crosse Kiwanis club is a service club, similar to Rotary, Lions, and Optimists. They meet every Tuesday for lunch at the Radisson Center downtown. They support many great projects and organizations that benefit the youth in our community! Become a member of Kiwanis today, just stop by one of their luncheon meetings.

Idol-icious......

In my opinion, America got it right last night by sending Paige home, but what an exit for her...she really belted out her final song..with no opportunity to be saved as Simon told her that before she even had a chance to sing...that was poor. Now those that are left, the top 10, will go on tour this summer. Usher will be the guest mentor next week, so I am looking forward to that!!

These are Wacky Cool....how about a tanning shower?? Or maybe a faucet that recognizes you and the temperature you prefer and a TV Screen in your mirror!! This one takes the cake though - you hear it alot....there's an app for that...well, there is! An app with a toilet flushing sound...30, 60 or 90 seconds worth to spare you embarassment at public toilets...and you conserve water cuz you're really not flushing to mask your noises - what next??

Wow, what is up with this season?? The contestants are either really good or really bad. My pick is still Crystal Bowersox - she was amazing last night...what were your thoughts of having Miley Cyrus on? She did alright with a few tips, but she is so young and new to her career!!! A great "Moron in the News" today includes this guy....he is accusing his neighbors of stealing 7 boxes of his favorite treats from his home! He claims his Little Debbie Oatmeal Cookies were taken and he took a garden hoe to their front door to get them back! Well, cops showed up and did find 5 boxes of the tasty treats at his neighbors home....but also found their reciept, showing they purchased them the day before at a local chain store....oooops! He will sign it and then hit the road to explain it to us....it is over 1200 pages long and very confusing. I will be the first to admit that I have no idea what is all in there and that some of it scares me...not knowing can be scary. The home owner asked if it was a female friend who had keys to his place...when a deep, male voice answered "no", he grabbed a baseball bat to protect himself. Freaky!

I did not get to see the show last night as we were taping a new Magic 105 TV Commercial, but I found a review site here and did DVR it, so will watch it later. has signed the biggest record deal EVER! It's worth $250 million with a guarantee of $200 million. The estate made the deal with Sony Music Entertainment. One album that will debut in November will contain never been heard before recordings. Jackson has left behind close to 3 albums worth of fresh material.

His doctor later told him that his father died at the age of 43 from a condition in which the blood retains too much iron.
