In other compassionate Katy Perry news, she's posted a video in tribute to those who lost their lives on the Malaysia Airlines plane that's believed to have been shot down in the Ukraine last week.  Prior to that incident, Katy had worked with UNICEF to produce a video, using her song "Unconditionally," in support of the 35 million people living with HIV.  A number of those who lost their lives on the plane were traveling to an International AIDS conference, where the video was to have been launched.

James Garner dies...

The announcement of James Garners death made me take a trip back in time to when TV was really good to watch as a family. Majority of the language was clean, you didn't see a ton of skin or have to explain certain situations to your younger kids. Rockford Files was one of my favorite shows and James Garner was a class act. He will be missed!

It is good to be back in the saddle, but I am definitely not here 100%! My daughter is somewhere between Frankfurt, Germany and Helsinki, Finland.....yikes!! I am so proud of her and her cousin, Nick. They will be working hard for the next 2 months at 4 different organic farms!! How cool!!
