His tongue is a whopping 3.8 inches long (9.8cm) measured from his lips. It has grown 0.2 inches (0.5cm) since it last made it into the record books in 2009 – and is expected to carry on growing.

Diana Nyad is a beast!

This 64 year old swimmer is amazing and just made history my finally accomplishing her long-held dream of becoming the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida without a shark cage! How crazy is that? VERY! Watch the video below as she reaches the shore of Florida. She seems in shock that she made it and also pretty disorientated!

The Lava Lamp turns 50!

They are so "groovy"! Lava Lamps are a relic from the 60's but still have quite a following! 2 of my 3 daughters had them in their room as young children and to this day are a favorite mood light!
