Sleep! Oh I miss it so!

I have had a rough time sleeping this week. I went on a 4 day vacation and slept pretty good, now I am home and cannot sleep for 4 hours straight! It is driving me crazy and the lack of sleep makes me prone to headaches and those can make me very unproductive - that I really do not like. What do you do to ensure you get a good nights sleep? Or do you just make it through on 5 to 6 hours? HELP!!

Vacation!!

It is so hard to come back and focus on a Monday following vacation, but I am trying! My daughter, Morgan and I joined my sister and her 2 boys at a cabin in Ely, MN and had a ball hiking and exploring. I will go back!

Adele had her baby!

Congratulations to Adele and her fiance, Simon Konecki!! They had a baby boy on Friday according to the UK press. No official confirmation from the couple yet or a name....we shall wait!

Congrats to Justin & Jessica!

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel did tie the knot on Friday in Southern Italy. Guests were kept in the dark about the wedding's location, and were reportedly told to fly to Frankfurt, Germany by Tuesday and from there were flown by private jet to Naples. Exclusive photos of the wedding will debut in People next week!

Cardboard Bicycle?

Now this invention seems like a great idea....except for in the rain! A bicycle made almost entirely of cardboard has the potential to change transportation habits from the world's most congested cities to the poorest reaches of Africa, its Israeli inventor says.

Izhar Gafni, 50, is an expert in designing automated mass-production lines. He is an amateur cycling enthusiast who for years toyed with an idea of making a bicycle from cardboard.

He told Reuters during a recent demonstration that after much trial and error, his latest prototype has now proven itself and mass production will begin in a few months. Check it out!

Monday!

Wow, what a wet and wild weekend!! Glow in the Deke was a huge event Saturday night at UW-La Crosse! The rain held off and close to 1000 people came out to run/walk through Myrick Park and the marsh in the dark helping to raise funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of La Crosse! The only negative was the loss of my iPhone. Was it misplaced or stolen? I may never know, but still feel so naked with out it!!

The best part of the weekend was wrapping it up with a big Green Bay Packer win!! Too bad it went so late into the night for us early birds!

Yes indeed, Pop sensation Ke$ha has written her memoir and it's due out in November. What did she share in My Crazy Beautiful Life besides a ton of pictures from her life til today...she is just 25? Rihanna has a new perfume line she is promoting...it's called Naked, so she got naked. Sure, makes sense to me! Of course there are conveniently placed leaves...thank you for that!
